from oshawa what would be my best or closest lake for some splake anyone willing to share plz PM a lake--would it be bancroft area??

Grindstone Lake North on 41 right on 506 has pretty good splake,and you can drive right to the lake.

Grab some stocking lists from the local MNR Im sure ull find some a little closer to the shwa. I know there are a few stocked lakes in northern peterborough county round and rusty shoe, there are dozens in bancroft area. Havent had much luck with the splake myself

Man there some awesome splake have caught some nice ones myself but nothing over 5 lbs love fishing them in the fall a very fun fish to catch.
