Ok guys I guess its about time . sorry its a little late but here goes!!
First off I would like to thank everyone for the great day, great times, great memmories. As some of you know this wasnt an easy thing to pull off but we did it, had fun, and all in all i would call it a sucess!! so thanks one and all it just would not have been possible without you!!
To start with we figured this to be a small affair and it was that but i think the weather and tough conditions kept alot of people away , but for the first time i was still pretty good and better than we had planned.
We collected $300 dollars in cash. thats $100 more than we had planned . so a little bonus there for sure!
Also we picked up a few other donations to sweeten the pot considerably so I would now like to thank thouse peole who helped contribute to the cause!!

Sheldon Hatch for building, and donating the winners plaque

Quinte outdoors sports donated a couple rod and reel outfits along with Tackle boxes . Thanks guys!!

G2 angling donated a half day guided trip for two in the next years ice season. thats a class act right there boys!!

Scott wilcott of Westlake Willows also donated Some fishing gear and a free boat rental to a lucky kid ! thanks Scott yer always willing to step up to the plate for this board!

Hosking Motor Sports donated a real nice Helmit to the kids. Nice gesture guys and Thanks to gone fishn' for getting us that donation!

pro Tackle donated a bunch of lures for the kids..... Thanks Staci

So all said and done we really did pretty good with Cash and prizes totaling about $1000 or more and it was a good time had by all.

Tomorrow Landshark and myself will be meeting with the Officers at the Belleville police station to hand over the cash and prizes. there is talk of a little meeting with the press So watch the papers boys I think we at Quinte fishing.com can be proud of what we have done here, and looks like its gonna make the news in print sometime soon!
We had a plaque made that will hang in the belleville police station that Myself and Shark had made and its our donation for the cause. see pic below!
Image
Also I made a little movie for all to enjoy Really wish we had more pictures but I think you will see the just of it all and know a fun Time was had by all!!!!!
Would like to send out a very special thanks to Dan Elliot for leting us all use this board without it none of it would have been possible. It is our hope that we may have established something here that has a GREAT potentual of growing bigger and better over the years and something we all can be very proud of!! . Thanks guys it was a real pleasure!! Grizz

Great Video & Awesome job Grizz and Landshark. Looks like it was a good time for all who could make it. I'm sure that Pat and the Belleville Police Service will appreciate the donation. Well done everyone.

Ok I'll be the first to ask, can I get a copy of this for myself? If it's a pdf file can it be sent and I'll print it myself and have it mounted. Will make a nice memento.

Hey guys,

Well I must say, when it was first announced, I said to myself, "This will never fly, it'll have a bunch of talk, but nothing will ever happen". MAN, was I soooooo wrong.

This event was a HIT!!! It was a great time, with a bunch of really top notch class act guys. I am totally proud to say that I'm part of this board and believe it has the best group of contributors around.

Chuck / Mike, you guys did an outstanding job... the food was amazing, the guys were awesome, the weather was perfect and it was an all out success. The best part was that it was for a great cause and it raised money for kids who need it the most. Thanks to all the guys out there, it was a pleasure meeting all of you and I CERTAINLY hope we can ALL do it again.

Thanks again guys.................Oh, BTW - The Winner's Plaque looks great in my office (Thanks Hatch). 8)

Cheers, Hodgey...

Great job Mike & Chuck. It was a blast. Hope we can do it again next year.
Met a class group of guys.
