Good thing the fish weren't biting. Would have ruined a great day. Congratulations all.

LOL. Love the spelling Griz, but I guess the pot can't call the kettle black. Guess that is why I manage a trailer park now, and not in the doctors office I once aspired to. Oh well, I'm not worse for the wear and I don't imagine you are either.

Great job guys to get all the donations, and I'll have to try and grab a spectators seat next year and a bowl of chowder. I'll leave the dinking through the ice for you morons that haven't figured out sitting over a hole in the ice and freezing your monkey off isn't fun.

Bravo...Bravo....Bravo...
Outstanding job Grizz and Shark along with everyone else that made a ball busting idea turn into a true sportsman event. Love the fact that everything went to a needy charity involving kids. For once Quinte anglers may be viewed by the local communities in a positive manner.
Ya mother nature threw us a curve ball but thanks to a couple of leaders and a great team we hit this thing out of the park.
Count me in for next year.
Jason

The first "Battle on the Bay" was a great success!!! Congratulations to the sparkplugs Grizz and Landshark for making it happen. We oughta make you guys honourary Canucks. Maybe you already are!! Bravo.

Just watched the video Grizz, and what you may lack in spilling you sure make up for in cinematography. Great job on the pictorial!!! I know nothing about that stuff.

With the others who pitched in to help I trust the load was not too great on anyone. Willing hands make light work. Now that the trail is broken the second "Battle on the Bay" may be easier to envision. Hope it happens.

Make sure you tell the press that no fish were harmed during the event.

Thanks for all the nice words guys. it really is nice....... definatly makes me feel good and im sure Landshark would say the same and really i cant stress enough it really was a joint effort and we could not have done it without yu guys so everyone involved deserves a lil credit on this what started as an Idea turned into reality and a great time had by all so it seems so mission accomplished!!
Yes my voice was on the Radio today lol. I sure hope i didnt sound too stupid the man stuck a recorder in my face asked a few questions and well as they say, the rest is now history just like the battle on the bay!!
We did meet with the police department today handed over cash and prizes I wish you could have all been there with us not sure what all will make the press they seem kind of busy but we tried our best to plug the board members and thouse who donated to this cause ......... thanks guys and I think I can again speak for Landshark as well as myself when I say the pleasure was all ours...... yer a great bunch and hope the fish gods smile on us all for years to come. Thanks. Chuck
