All ice fishers wonder what the heck is going on down below the hole. Those with graphs and vexilars can see images and those with cameras can see - how many have the cameras??????

This guy in Minnesota captured the fish below. Titled: Underwater Ice Fishing Video Walleye, Northern, and Musky

Have a look -approx 5 miins

Reminds me of the pike experience I had last weekend. No camera, just watching through the hole. Just would not take it. Was using live bait and it still wouldn't take it. Exciting and frustrating at the same time. Any one know what I should have done to entice a strike?

Tank you for sharing superdad. That was really cool. Neat to see how the perch would move into the area as the muskie would move out and then scatter as it turned around to come back.

Very cool video. I always wonder how many walleye follow the lures in the follow. I know I got a few reaction bites this fall when playing with rods, and trannyman mentioned they had a few as well. I'm sure there are more followers then we realize.

yo roddydog
i once had the same thing happen
i just let the jig and 2 minnows lay on the bottom
the minnows were like almost verticle and the pike
just turned around and slammed them
good thing i was watching grabbed the pole
[was haveing a smoke @ the time]
lo and behold pulled a nice 10lb pike up through the hole
took a couple pics and let it go
that was neat   to say the least

If he was using a 1/2 oz. red and silver champ tipped with 3 minnows he would've caught all three species of fish

Ya, was thinking the same thing. A couple of minnows hanging off the hook wouldn't hurt!!!!

Thank's Superdad....Cool ....Well i have used my Camera and Vex both most of the last 2 year's at the same time .... and have used many lure's ...with and without minnow's ......and what i have found ...is some you can get to bite ....and it is a blast to watch them pick it up or fly across the screen and hammer your bait .....but some ....no matter what you do ...they do not want to bite , and nothing you do will makes a diffrence......It can be very frustrating ....but a lot of fun to watch .

And that is for Walleye , Pike , Bass , Whitefish, Sheepshead , Perch and Big Catfish .....these were all on the Bay .

just my 2 cent's

So I don't really need to spend money on flashers and camera's. Just stick with "Old School"!!!!!!!!
