and they caught fish, learned some key information/techniques and still had a full day on the ice. whats better then that?. and also gave them a deal because the afternoon bite was off. I can expect a deal when you catch nothing all day but come on guys! you got what you came for didn't you? some quinte walleye!

Wow Mav I don't think I wore that much all through school. LOL. Great points by both. Easiest thing to do is just handle it real time.

i agree,no one spoke to you directly and it wasn't until we were driving home and discussing the trip amongst ourselves that these points arose.to be fair though, our contact man spoke to someone in your party after 10pm and was told to be at the tackle shop at 5 15am.i do believe that we missed a good hour of fishing, eye fishing for me is 15 min before sun up till they quit.also, when someone did show up,we were given directions to the park and left on our own to find it because our contact had to stop at timmys, after several wrong turns,we did arrive.i did not want this whole thread to be blown out of proportion and was only stating what happened, the day was not a write off and we did catch fish.lets move on

No ones perfict but I went out with QIFT two years ago and had a great time. Only caught one fish but they were on time, gave bait, set up our hut, taught us how to fish(this was my first time on quinte) and Jeff must have spent 45min talking to me over the phone about lures and fishing. Personaly I had a great trip with them with no complaints but that was my experience with them.

At this point it seems appropriate to lock it down and move on.
