Hark,

It seemed to be a slow weekend. Probably the reason for the lack of posts.

We had 2 boats. Trolled all weekend near Picton (Sat 12:30 am - 7 am, 1 pm - 5 pm, 8 pm - 3 am). Managed 3 Walleyes in the boat and 2 lost. All were caught at night. Rogues, Jointed Rapala and Jointed Bombers produced the fish.

The fish didn't seem to be schooling up to return to Lake Ontario as we had hope. This weekend or the next probably would produced well for us.

Derby results

Cheers,

Mike

The results seem a tad lower (weight wise) in both walleye and pike. I was hoping to see the pike size grow, and was sure that more walleye over 12.5 pds. would have been on the board. I hope everyoe had fun.
Regards
Don Stokes

got on the lake around 7:30 am on sunday.
3 guys fishing, we landed 6 pickerel between 7:30-2pm all by the ferry. All fish were caught within 30 meters from shore in about 25 ft of water trolling up and down by the glenora ferry. All pickerel were between 8-10lbs. Much different than my December 1st outing where all were between 10-15lbs

arrived at the Picton launch 7:00 AM Saturday. I have to thank whoever it was opened up their land for parking next to the ramp, and the 2 people who shared their booster cables so I could get the Evinrude started.
Wife and I trolled stretch 20 and ripstick with no results. switched to HJ and glass shad- no result. only fish I saw were caught off the island shoal far side of the ferry route, 1 each out of 2 boats. fish were a good size but stingy. water was 58 F. I got the top up 5 minutes before it rained. all in all a good day for no fish

Hey all, slim pickins' for our crew too. We worked the Trent River from about 1am til 8am and only one fish to show, although it was a nice one......just shy of 8 lbs. There were lots of fish, they just didn't seem in the mood to cooperate. I'm sure they'll be some great fishing to be had over the next couple weeks all around Quinte.

Tight lines to all.....Paulie
