Hi Everybody,

Just wondering how the fishing has been around Shermans Point. I haven't seen many post for the hay bay and Long Reach area.

This will be my first trip to Quinte so I figured that would be a good starting point because I'll have easy Access to Hay Bay and Long Reach.

My Plan is mostly trolling to cover water and get a feeling for the area as it is my first time.

Is there a launch near Shermans Point?

Can't wait until Saturday :) YEEPPIIEEE!!! FINALLY! GET TO FISH QUINTE!LOL! Sorry couldn't hold back :)

Got it. cosider it done. I don't have a radio but if we go earlier i'll keep an eye out.
Opening weekened alot of guys were hgaving luck around Ram Island,Thompsons and troling the mouth of Hay Bay with silver spinners and Uzick spinners both tipped with worm. However, that was as you know ,two weeks ago. Worth a shot though. Good luck and let us know how you did..

Darby :)

There were a lot of boats at Shermans on opening weekend, never saw a net over the side until my Dad picked one on an Uzick. I was back on the Tuesday the 4th and bounced around SHermans in the wind and hit anice 20" fish on the Uzick. I was alone that day. Don't fish too deep

There's a launch ramp approx 3/4 mile from Shermans off the the North Shore road - watch for the signs.

Hope the fish gods are on your side for your 1st trip to Quinte.
