So we hit the Ganny this morning with the kids. I had worms and a number of spoons and spinners. The spot we had was not good for kids casting so worm and hook it was. We lasted a short time, the kids lost interest after watching others with roe sacks land a number of large fish (for us) and throw them back :0
On the way home we drove along the lake front and saw some people fishing off rock inlets. Anyone willing to explain their set up? What is the bait and how to get it out off shore?

I was fishing out into the lake at the mouth of shelter valley. I use roe, and a 3 way swivel with a bottom bouncer, hold it in place and the current does the work for ya. I also use a small thumb nail size lucky strike spinner in front of the roe bag, the roe can only drift about 4 inches up with that set up and it works ok.
Next time your down this way let me know, im fishing ganny/cobourg creek tomorrow and friday.
