Got out for one last shot at the lake trout this weekend and we got into some dandies.

These were both PB's of mine in the same day (thru the ice)

Big, fat healthy fish with belly's full of fresh shad....each fish was like a heavy weight prize fight with the drag just a screemin'...way too much fun.

Couple weeks and we'll have the boat out. If you're still fishing be safe out there!

Nice work Chris. Good to see some nice healthy fish caught. Stockers or naturals? About three weeks and we'll be able to wade for them. Smelt shaped jerkbaits and a nice gravel point. Just don't stumble and go down or you won't see your nads until the bass opener!!

Those look like the lakers we used to get over there all the time. Great pic.
