Quinte Fishing

Fished Friday evening and landed 3 from 15 to 17 inches and one 5 + lb pike. Lost 3 nice ones. Trolling from the pump house at the pig farm to the church.

Saturday didn't land anything other than perch.

Sunday landed another 2 between 15 & 18 1/2 inches and another 5 + lb pike trolling the same area as Friday.

Lots of reports of people getting them in Long Reach half way to Deseronto as well as the Flats. Lots of wind this past weekend. The fishfinder was marking tons of fish during the chop but once the winds died down only the odd fish here and there.

All fish on the Uzicks. No luck on the Grappler Shad's or the Taildancer's for us but others apparently had luck with them. Thanks to Superdad for the refill of Uzick's

Back up this weekend for another kick at the can.

Fatman, hope the only thing bruised is the ego see you this weekend.

Hey Ken, glad to hear ya got out there and caught some, thx for the report. I'm heading up there this Thursday, June 3rd to Sunday. Gonna have to give that Reach a try, as well as some other spots. I got the itch o mighty, haven't been up there since last November! I hope to meet up with you guys on the water, I'll be in a blue/gray Smokercraft w/50hp Honda, and probably sporting my Gilligan Island bucket hat. If I'm luckier, I'll run into SuperDad and he can pass along some of those UZICKS to me.
