Hi All,

This is my first time posting there but I've been reading the post for over a year and I really appreciate the sharing of knowledge and info within this forum.

I've been anticipating my 1rst trip to BoQ all year, I fish the area 3x a year. Since I haven't been there this year, I wouldn't know where to start fishing this time. Would somebody out there have a report on which areas is productive this time of year? I usually fish Hay Bay to Sherman's&Thompson's Pt. since I'm staying at Blakewood, I'm close to the middle. I still have a lot to learn about BoQ and I wouldn't mind trying Picton and the Glenora ferry areas but how productive is it compared to Haybay this time of year? And finally, where can I get some Uzicks while I'm up there?

I'm on a red and white 17ft walleye boat, please come by and say hello.

Thanks in advance and hope to c'ya in the water!
Bob Cruz

Hi Bob
They are available at many resorts around the bay or you may call me. Take a look at my page in the bait and tackle section-Red Swan Tackle

Got back early this evening from BoQ
We didn't do too good with hooking walleye although we caught & released some nice pike an oos bass. We must have been around a school of sheepshead, we caught some over 10lbs.

Talked to several locals who were scattering around for fish and were also having trouble like us. The ones caught good fish caught their fish during late evening fishing on stick baits off points. For some reason, there were not as many boats in BoQ this weekend....did we miss the spring bite already?

The walleye we caught were from dunking in weededges but we tried everything from trolling Uzicks and stick baits withouth success. I did get a chance to fish east of the ferry and marked lots of quality fish therebetween 20-28fow...I's suspecting they are walleye?

Nextime, maybe we'll bump into some of the guys here and you can how it's done.
