Quinte Fishing

Probably just had the single best day of bass fishing in twenty years. After seeing a large mouth almost climb a rock to get a frog we threw black Kelly's Scented Crawlers directly into the weeds(they're rigged weedless) and pulled out a dozen keepers in under a hour. The biggest pair, caught within minutes of each other, were a matching 3 lbs 11 ozs.

I've always had decent luck on this lake and in this particular bay, but this kind of a strike at 3:oopm on a hot sunny day was a very pleasent suprise.

What day were you fishing Kennebec. I was there on Saturday and found unbelievable action from 2:00 to 3:00. Did well the rest of the weekend too. My first time there and was very impressed with the Largemouth.

We started fishing the east end around 1:30 and ran into the great Bass action around 3:00pm. I've been fishing Kennebec a couple of times a year for the last three years and always catch fish.
