Mountain, I think most boats with flat decks are made out of wood. The carpet I'm sure can stand the abuse of the rain, and as far as the wood goes, hey, it's a boat. They're going to get wet. Letting it air out is probably the best option, (while it's parked) but it's not alwalys in your control. Just do the best of what you're capabale of. The weather might take it's toll on it after years of abuse, but it's just like anything else. Lots of guys fish in the rain and snow, and I don't think it's that big of a deal.
