Quinte Fishing

Hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help with a couple of questions. First, a number of the more successful anglers I observed fishing the Picton area late last fall were trolling with colour coded lead core line. I'd like to try it this fall but was wondering what pound test lead core is commonly used? Also how many colours are typically used when trolling?, and finally how long and what type of lead is used off the end of the lead core? Thanks in advance for any help!
