Went out with my wife on Monday AM, headed to Silo Shore Weed line(just east of Thompson Cove), Several boats trolling and drifting with the stiff breeze.

MY wife hit a nice 18" on a no 9 Hot Chub Taildancer just off the weedline.
Saw some other boats with their net in the water, some fish were biting.

We travelled over to the Old Church area and I picked a couple (12" & 16") on the Orange Uzick.

Went out in the evening for a short run and trolled a CC Shad towards the Green Buoy at Ram Is and hit a really nice 24 1/2" approx 5.5 lbs. Back in at 1930.

The word is that the bite has been on at Shermans with many reports of SUPER fishing there.

Ken & Jo are doing well, the other day they had 11 fish and 8 were in the slot - that's good fishing in my books.

Lots of luck to everyone at the John Milinski Memorial Derby at Bayview Resort on Saturday - Promisies to be a good time for all. C U 4 Breakfast.

Tight Lines

I can't wait for my fall trips, except they signify the end of fishing for another year. The posts from this summer look like the fishing is better than it has been for years! That is great to hear!!!

Well Superdad, I just confirmed for the weekend of Oct 15-17th at Blakewood Lodge. I'll be down with a tonne of others from this area and others. Hope I get to meet you finally on the water that weekend.

If you can PM me with any helpful tips for that area I'd appreciate it!

If you get a chance drop by. I'm sure many of the guys/gals at Fish-Hawk would like to meet you.

Thanks again Dave!
