You might want to check out the Humminbird PiranhaMax 160. It is a good little fish finder for the buck $199.00 at Canadian Tire. It has Water temerature, 4 level Grey scale, Duel beam sonar and lots of other features. It is a very good finder for the money and it works well. I have one in my Kayak and it is a tough little unit with lots of features. Fred...

You should have phoned the toll free number at Radioworld and actually talked to someone. I've never had a problem when I phone. Usually delivered in 3-4 days not counting weekends.
It appears fishfinders.com is a US company.
Did you inquire how they ship? You could be nailed by very high brokerage fees if by courier.

Actually being from Oakville your close enough to have just drove over to Radioworld.
For me being close to London it's a bit further.

i use a Lowrance Mark-5x DSI Portable Fishfinder, i can get them for around 200 bucks now.. (refurbished units)
i run a threw hull transducer on it in the winter, and it will actualy shoot threw the ice.. when pulled along in a plastic sled.
there is a few portage only lakes that i fish, so i use this set up all year around.
http://www.lowrance.com/Products/Marine ... -Portable/
just some food for thought, for any one else that reads this..
you can also buy a kit to make your lowarance hds unit portable, i had that as well, but only use it when i am fishing from the hut as they say those units screens could crack below minus 20.

I have the 170.
Here's the differences between the 150, 160 & 170.
150- 20 deg transducer, 800 Watts (PTP) power 160 V x 128 H pixels.
160- 20 & 60 deg transducer, 800 Watts (PTP) power, 160 V x 128 H pixels.
170- 20 & 60 transducer, 1600 Watts (PTP) power, 240 V x 160 H pixels.
To sum it up the only difference between the 150 & 160 is the 160 has a dual beam transducer.
The 170 has the dual beam transducer with twice the power & almost twice the pixels.
