How long have you been making thos Uzik spinners now? I admire your tenacity and although I get to see a lot of different "stuff".....I still have a soft spot for regional favourites. What got you into it anyways? I am just curious, given that as much as I have never fished with Superdad, I have a great deal of confidence in him and what he has recommended. (eg....your spinners..lol).
All the best

Hi Don
I have been making tackle for about 9 years now. The first 4 were back in Ottawa. I transfered to Napanee to work in kingston and that's where I I really saw the need locally for some different tackle. There are many mass produced baits in the area but not many llocally made ones. I was a technician by trade which has always had me busy with my hands. I started making tackle as a hobby and once it started to take over my work shop it was a natural progression to sell to the public. I had always made spinners but when I saw the uzick spinner and gave it a try I was hooked! I also have have spinner baits and buzz baits that are popular. One of the local quinte tournament bass fisherman{Dean Thompson} uses my buzz baits exclusively and has done really well with them.
You may also have heard of my gold spoons that are quite good. 24 carat gold plated 3/4 oz size that has taken a number of Pike,Bass and Walleye. Just a sample of what I have to offer.
That in a nut shell is what created Red Swan Tackle.
Thanks for your interest...larry
