What would be your guess on the weight of this eye that we caught during our annual Timmins Boys trip (January 29-30 2011). It measured at around 29" (hard to measure due to fat belly!), but it was one certainly a fat one!

looks like a nice 10 to me.. but really hard to tell.. i mean i have seen pictures of fish that i belive are like 8-10 pounds, then guy tells you it was like 13 or 14.. then you notice he has one of those garabage green (the name is some thing tools). scales.. so you just agree with the guy knowing it probly really was a 8-10 pound fish.. also say a picture of a 6.5 pound largie, that only went 21 inches. probly a 5 probly just a 5 pounder.

Quinte fish are hard to tell. My personal best fish way a 12 lb ( checked with two scales ) however it was only 28.9 inches. And I've caught a 32 inch in temagami that only weighed in at 7 lbs.
