This year unfortunatly couldn't make it to Napanee during spring time, car problems the old beater was not highway worthy, by the time a picked up another car summeris ending, done little fishing.
Is it anything happening around Napanee this time of the year or may as well wait for the next season?
If not where is a good place within 2-3 hours from Toronto still active?
Thanks for the replies
Liam

There isn't a bad time to come to quinte. Some periods are better than others, you just can't be certain of any time. Fishing is like that you can never be sure.
Besides that, just being out on the water does it for me. Catching fish is icing on the cake!
Usually if walleye are not biting the smallmouth are so just change your tactics.
The Uzick/Swan spinners still work well.....Larry

I don't waste my time at the BoQ anymore...there's far better fishing elsewhere.

The bay is dead and void of any fish ??? . Check the standings of last weekends Quinte Fishing Series....I think the Buckets are getting big enough to eat up those walleye now 8O ...not really, just yanking yer chains...the Bay of Quinte is alive and well, just have to change to different tactics to late summer fish.

Get out on the bay, theres tons of fish to catch !

While the fishing hasn't been as hot as it was last year, the fish are still there....you just have to work for them. Wouldn't be much fun if they just jumped in your boat now would it? Unless you're just a meat hunter. In any case, like Larry said you can always target other species. The Bass in the BOQ are second to none, the Sheephead are plentiful and LARGE lots of panfish etc.
