Quinte Fishing

Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone could please provide me with some general areas for shore fishing on the Moira in the Belleville/Corbyville area?

I have a boat. but sometimes I like just to get out for a quick and easy shore fish.

What kind of fish are you hoping to target. The area under the Pinnacle St. Bridge offers good wading during low water out to a deeper hole which often holds bass, gar pike and the occasional Walleye. I used to fly fish Gars here (Yarn Flies). O'Brians Bridge in Plainfield offers shore fishing for pike and bass although the fishing is generally slow. After dark i have also caught channel cat here.

Right now the water is really low and across from the arena in Belleville is great in the holes.
You also can go up to Vander water park or Latta By the cheese factory for some good fishing there every think from Bass Pike Gars and Muskie.

Going with a Fly Rod is even more Fun If you are interested.
