As always today was a great day on the quinte, lots of fish and great weather. The rain held off and made for a great tourny.
Again thanks to Andy for going out of his way to put this tourny on for all to enjoy.
Hope you do it again next year, had a blast.

Paul

Excellent job Andy...

Very organized, well run and friendly bunch of people. Still not sure how you managed to keep those skies from opening up on us?

Maybe next year your son can work the computer tho :D

Hey guys,

I am glad you had a good time! It's always my pleasure to do this, but sorry for screwing up the weigh in (minor computer glitch). In the end, everything worked out. I will post the results after I get them off my other computer.

It was a tough day for some with myself having a battery issue, but luckily another competitor was nice enough to lend us a battery. Another boater broke his trolling motor mount, his outboard quit shifting gears, broke a rod and lost all of his bigger fish!! All after having his lower unit replaced, due to hitting a rock pre-fishing!!!

But all in all, a great day with some great stories.

Thanks to Paul at The Pita Pit for the prizes, Ralph Neale at Belleville Dodge for his continuous support, Gilmour's Meats, GT Machining and everyone else how helped out or donated a prize, I really do appreciate it.

Thanks again, it's really nice to see young teams and father son/daughter teams challenging teams that have fished competitively together for years.

Thanks,

Andy

Thanks Andy. That was one of the best tournaments I have been in all year. Very fun. Hope you run a few more.

Well Shawn,

It all falls back on your wife, if she would have changed your daughter birthday, then you could have been there to do the weigh in. JK

Sorry about your scale.

I will make it up to you.

No worries.

I cant tell you how much it sucked to be at home entertaining a bunch of screaming kids knowing you guys were out there. Life of a dad I guess.

If I can make your next one im going to design a harness for my next scale.

Why don't you just put the results up in a timely manner to save us from all the unnecessary and inane and I want to say stupid posts.

I bet if you made a "Large mouth" tournament and charged $150 bucks you'd get as many as the QFS.

If you read back to the original post, Andy stated that it was cut off at the ferry. I think this tournament was meant more for fun, with a bit of a payout for the people.
