Line used for trolling for Walleye in the Fall/Winter

If you select Braid with Fluorocarbon leader, please specify what size of each line.

20lb powerpro/10floro,14lb mono/10floro,27lb leadcore/10lb floro,18lb wire/#20&#30 jet diver/10lb floro,10lb straight up floro.if your only using one line your missing out ,this I feel is the best of all worlds as far as set-ups for Quinte eyes go!!!oh ok,spinning 1st,planner board trolling next,longline deep trolling for the leadcore,etc

I should have specified using In-line planer boards. (Added pressure on the line). Don't know if that will change anyone's answer.

i use 14lb crystal fireline with 14lb carbon leader. if you switch the back clips on your inlines to snap weight clips or clips with line holders on them, when the fish hits the board just folds back and stays on, its alot better then reelin in the board while its pullin away from you "if you fish with kids its alot easier for them" and you don't have to clear inside boards.

30lbs braid.

17lbs flouro lead.

same size leads from my leadcore.

i don't fish wire in quinte (or copper).
