I am thinking of launching at Desoronto next weekend and was wondering what the boat launch was like. I havent used it in quite a few years. Thought I read here last year that there was some issues with it. If there is I would rather go up and launch at Picton. Also is there a charge and can you pay right at the launch? I usually launch at Belleville.
Thanks in advance

No issues with the boat launch at Deseronto Park, $3.00 fee to launch or $20.00 for a seasons pass, Very good launch with a good dock.

A really good launch, duel concrete ramp with a good dock and lots of parking, and it's all for $3.00/day.

The nicest thing about launching there is that you are right in the middle,go right and you're on your way to the narrows,go straight out and you're on your way to Hay Bay...enjoy

One thing I noticed the last time I was there is that there is an steel eye cast in the center of the ramp. I think they put it there so that you could hook a come along to it then to your two wheel drive truck that was spinning on the slimy concrete.
Very clever.
