Thanks for the location tips Monday night, Al. Managed to sneak away Tuesday afternoon for the Bonnet . Line in the water at 1:00pm. Thought for sure it would be a waste of time that time of day. Went to the Elbow and tried Flies, MC and Spins nothing. Pulled up the Rocket and dropped down a Purple and Black Nasty Boy. Not a word of a lie, 5 minutes later had a 20+ lbs, down again and a small shaker, down again and another small shaker. Finally ended with a knock off, so called it a day at 4:00pm. MaryLynn filled the smoker and what a fine batch. Thanks Brother (Al) .
Did notice that the king was starting to darken up in colour and all three fish were not clipped.

'You know every person's taxes pays for those fish out there." That has been my motto to live by for many a moon.

I still remember how we struggled when we were getting started back in the early 80's. it was really hard to get information from the guys at the boat launches and marinas up west. We finally made a friend in Oshawa that got us on the right path. Since then I have always helped others that are just getting started.

I am glad you had a good day Dave, while I was at work.

Later
Al
