I was up to Bon Echo last weekend and saw turkeys and on the north shore of Weslemekoon this weekend and saw a bunch of turkeys there as well. I was wondering how far north they are now. Anyone see any above there?

A little further north, one of our hunting gang in macarthur mills has some that hang around his place.

I have seen them north and south of my lot this summer but then I'm not very far north of Gunter. There is also Elk, applied for tags but no luck

I have a cottage in McArthurs Mills and we saw turkeys there this weekend crossing 28hwy. I have also seen them in the Fraser lake region. We have a few elk around as well...

Cool. Thanks for the replies. Sounds like they have spread up north quite well then. You get so used to seeing them down here around in the fields, it seems strange to see them in the woods to the north where there are no farm fields around.

Had a cousin come down to the Quinte area from Larder Lake just north of
Kirkland Lake. He spotted some turkeys on a logging road in the area he was
on just last week. Now that's North.

Father in law hunts them in orillia and has spotted them along hwy 11 near Huntsville so I would say they are all the way up to the north border of the park.

I was doing some research in Espinola a while back and saw a decent flock north of the French River and just south of Sudbury. Their numbers and range sure is expanding!
