Talk about a wonderfull weekend.

We left our place friday morning around 6:00am to arrive at Perfect Vue around 8:30. Unpacked everything and most important, get some ice for the "Pop". Around 10 we decide to hit the water, me and my brother decided to try out the area around Ram Island, after about 10 mins, bang, fish on, a nice small mouth around 3 pnds. We rig up again and 20 mins later another bass, this one a bit smaller a nice 2 pnds. They are really a good fight. We cought also lots of perch and gobbies for the next hours until around 12;00 my brother got the first walleye of the weekend a nice 18". An hour later it was my turn, a 17". We decided to head back to shore at 2pm for a few pops.

After dinner we headed out to Shermans point around 6Pm. As we arrived there only 3 boats. After about hmmmm 2mins we got out lines in the water, BANG things got hot walleye after walleye were coming out, everyone in there were catching walleyes. 4 Went back in the water, 2 23", 1 21" and a 22'. Other were between 16 and 18". Great night!

Saturday not much to say about it. Walleye fishing was a bit tougher as we got 3 in the morning and that was it for the day.

Sunday things got interesting again. We got about 8 walleye from 6am to 10am, all good size, from 18 to 23" again.

Sunday night was the best night of all, walleye were still hot and also got one hell of a fight. Around 8pm, i hook something and tell my brother, this is the biggest fish of the weekend we hooked, it was heavy and pulled like hell. After a good fight with now a soar wrist, we net a nice channel cat fish, we did way it but it was surely between 12 and 15 pnds, what a nice trill to catch.

Seems everyone were catching fish on the weekend. We cought ours mostly on the green and orange Uzick.

Special thanks to Hay Bay Larry.

Mr. Twister, I believe I say your sunday at Sherman, would of said hi but you were to busy catching fish.

Hopefully back in Oct or NOV for the big ones!
