So I am contemplating throwing together a 1 day sheephead tourney on the bay in October. As many anglers as you want to a boat, 1 day, 3 fish. Small money and big fun. Hopes for live release. Can I get some input if guys might be interested. It would be a great oppurtunity to meet some guys from the site

I have a question for you
How do you actually target sheep head?
We catch them fishing EYE's. Do you do anything different to catch more?
My grandson loves bringing them in, I just have to hold onto his belt so he does not go overboard

why stop at sheepies ? i mean if yer gonna fish for the junk why not go all the way and toss in a few gobys. and a redfin make it an all round champ lol . how about a grand slam... one sheepie, one goby, one perch,one walleye and one pike. five fish with the lowest combined weight all in a 6 hour fish off of sorts, lol or just sheepsheads. what the heck. im in! lol

I'm in but I might know how to target then and I think the Shark does also.

Sheepies can be a pain in the azz when fishing salmon on the south shore in early to late June.
The guys over there call it "silence of the lambs." :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
