so needless to say my buddy Wade got some very nice Muskies ,there were two 55" inch fish caught where we were fishing this weekend but our best was only 44" ,was a very good time, lots of good fish, and only a couple of minor wounds, from teeth, hooks and high fives, lol, anyone interested in giving musky fishing a try should consider Lake St.Clair, lots of good fish around and some big fish as well !!!!

That's incredible! Is it unusual to catch that many muskies there?

was over 2 days, friday august 26 and saturday the 27,its a trolling game there ,there were a few guys casting but very limited success casting,i dont know what the average number of fish is,we got 6 on friday after the storm blew up the water on wednesday night, and we got 13 out of 14 on saturday,we were trolling between 4.5 and 5.5 mph,the water was 13-15 ft deep, using a local lure called a tuff shad ,tried woodies, grandmas, bucktails, large reef runners, nils masters and the like, only the reef runners and tuff shads took fish, the fish were spread out over the day no bites either day past 5 pm,which i thought was kinda weird, also got a 7lb walleye on a giant reef runner and 4 smallies-the lines were out on the planer boards and 2 directly in the prop wash 25-30 ft behind the boat, the wash rods took over half the fish ,its incrdible when they bust the bait behind the boat and are air born in seconds right behind the motor, was a great experience and we will be doing it again in the fall, when the really big girls show up with consistancy-that will be a blast- a 50+ inch fish on a wash rod --oh be still my beating heart, lol,

What a way for Wade to bust his musky cherry. LOL. You really had them dialed in. Nothing like a big fish on a short line.
