Ok I have done some thinking and here we go. Stay tuned here for any official announcements and changes. All feedback is welcome and again this for fun and basically a chance to meet some folk as we get ready for the fall walleye season. It will be announced later where the sign up is.

1. This will take place Saturday October 22 . sign up starting at 6 am-7:15 leave docks at 7:30am, must be back into docks by 3 pm

2. All boats must leave and return out of the marina in Picton.

3. This is a fun event and a chance to meet members of the site.

4. Scoring will be based on each boats 3 best fish. You may only have 3 sheephead (freshwater drum) in your boat when coming to the weigh in. Do not have more than 3 sheep in your boat. You will receive 1 pt per pound as well as 5 points per fish. For example if you had 3 and the total weight was 20lbs, you would have a score of 35 points. If you had 2 fish for a total weight of 17lbs your score would be 27 points. Ties will be determined by a coin flip

5. Live Release is encouraged so please treat the fish as the sportsman that we all are. We dont want floating fish in the harbor

6. The cost will be just 30 dollars per boat as this is more of a bragging rights than a get rich tourney. There will also be an optional 10 dollar largest fish calcutta

7. 1st place will receive half 50% of the pot, 2nd 30%, and 3rd 20%

8. I am also going to try to talk to JJ's Texas Grill in Bloomfield to see if we can all go down there for snacks and drinks after and basically get to know each other and have a fun time.

9. All MNR rules must be followed.

10. There is no limit to the amount of anglers per team but it must comply with all safety rules.

11. Every participant in this tournament enters at their own risk.

I'm going to bust my butt to have my boat ready to roll by then. I'm in for sure.

This should be a ton of fun. Thank you very much for putting this together Shark.

What type of sponsorship are you looking for? I could donate a package of lures for a draw prize. I'll just order a 4 or 5 Reef runners and 4 or 5 TD11's to put together for a pretty decent tackle pack. Let me know what you think.

Scott

Good job Mike. Team Grand Slam is in for the Slam the Lamb Tournament..

You could use the rule: Biggest fish of the box breaks the points tie.

I'll see what I can dig up for sponsors.

There is ample parking in mid to late October. There would be no problems Oct 22. Even in November it is OK. I park up on the road alot but it's more then doable.

I think the positives of the Harbour out weigh the negatives of the parking.

Just my thoughts.
