I'm from london and fish often for all speices, and am coming to the bay of quinte on oct.4 to 8 and would love to get advice on your pike and small mouth I heard so much about.I have a 18ft legend with all the toys and would like to meet someone that would show me around the bay and if you come my way we'll go to my spots .(toronto for salmon ,niagara for trout in the winter, lake st. clair for musky and bass in which I got a large treble in my foot last wk. needed plyers or erie for bass, walleye and trout).I'm only going to be there 5 days and don't want to find em on the last day. Peter

Hey yo fish

Just plan to come up on a weekend and you'll find the Walleye areas pretty easily I should think. There's usually enough boats out to give you an idea where to target :!:

if your fishing bass or pike, you'll be alone.

everyone are food fisherman here...

i've yet to talk to ANYONE AT boQ who actually fishes for anything but walleye...

WHen asking about how the bass are, i get "how should i know, no one fishes for them..."

I've been to HayBay/BoQ for eight full days this summer, and have YET to find another bass fisherman.

Walleye all the way. (which leaves you the back bays all to yourself, almost a bass fishermans paradise...)

I am a touch too far away to be of much service, but I expect you will have a great time fishing for bass and pike (especially bass). It remains vastly underfished.
