Well my father and I finally got out tonight for a fish and we headed over to the Melville shoal area near Kingston. Not having fished the area in over 20 years we didn't quite know what to expect. Started out near Snake island and didn't get a bite so we headed closer to Melville Shoal. My Dad threw on a Silver Blue Worm Harness, and I threw on a white one, both with big willow blades. It wasn't even 10 minutes before we had our first fish on, a beautiful 10 lb Eye!, we fished for another 1.5 hrs and managed a 2lb smallie, a 5lb smallie, and minutes before we were going to pack up I finally landed a nice 7lb Eye. Not to mention a bunch of unwanted Goby's!

all fish were landed in about 15 FOW

It was an awesome night and I hope to get out for more!

Mike

Nice job on some big lake gold!

I got to get me some big eyes soon, don't think I can wait until November on the bay, might have to try the big lake.
