Quinte Fishing

I've never been to your bay of Quinte and have heard such good things I am coming Oct. 4-8 with my wife which may sound lame , but is a good fisherman. I enjoy bass and pike as well on the odd day may walleye fish. I've heard such good things in regards to bass and pike and am wondering if my focus is manly bass and pike should we stay in Belleville,picton or where ever. I like to stay near the water if not on as I have an 18' Legend that needs to be docked or pull it in and out ever day, which I don't mind if the fishing location is considered better. Thanks as well it sounds like the walleye are being taken by trolling planners and downriggers which is fine I have both, but aren't they with the bass and pike by means of casting and such.Peter

There is a bed and breakfast that is practically right across from the dock (roughly 400 m) in Deseronto. It looks very nice from the outdside.

I hear people on the board talk about this place called Merlands too near Picton. It is right on the water. I note that there are a couple of places advertised on the site here too.
