Hi All,

I thought I would take the time to say hi to all as I'm new to the board. I'm from Kitchener and not afraid to travel for good fishing. I'm planning a trip in mid October but not sure what area of the bay to fish. My first thought was Trenton or Belleville unless some responses here point me in another direction. This will be my first trip to BoQ and wondering what about tactics that time of year; trolling dipseys, riggers, flatline, planner boards? Bait choice; body baits, cranks, harnesses, spoons? Any info would be great. I look forward to hearing from you. :D :D :D

Welcome aboard!!!
I'd head to the Picton area, the big fish will just be starting to come into the bay from the lake and the fishing should just be getting good. If you could postpone your trip for a couple weeks it will be even better.
Trolling deep diving cranks in open water is your best bet.

welcome to this board
it didn't take long for some info to filter in for you
i told ya it was a good board
my 2 cents would be
1 infront of the cement plant [near /or in picton bay
2 between shermans and thompsons point
we like the 800 series reef runners in the fall [ irredecent color seems to work for us ]
td-11 tail dancer [same color] also
wish you well on the walleye

Welcome aboard,
bluedog gave you some good info and another area well known in the fall is Aldophus reach which is due east of the cement plant and ferry. Once past the ferry you are allowed 2 lines. get a hold of a good map and familiarize your self with these areas. Good luck on your trip down and drive safe

Thanks for the warm welcome and hints. Looking forward to my first trip to the bay. I'm in a 16.5 Thundercraft B/R white/blue. Hope to see a few of you when I'm down on the bay. :D :D :D
