Quinte Fishing

anyone ever fish or camp at this lake?
if so any comments

fished a bass tournement there back in June and tore my elbow apart catching numerous bass. (still unable to cast).

Caught walleye and pike that weekend as well. Nice little lake.

Indeed it is a nice little lake! Troll the edge of the weed beds, you will not be disappointed. The "swamp", as I use to call it, at the end of the lake was an excellent large mouth hot spot! I haven't fished the lake in years. Use to camp at Lake Consecon resort when I was a kid. The swamp was where mom and dad would always find me!

In past years, my buddy and I would drop the Canoe in at the west end by the Hwy. That part of the Lake is all weeds and lily pads. A couple years ago we had a blast with the Bass and small pike that were in there, this year we were there for a couple hours and ended up getting skunked. Not sure if it just had to much fishing pressure over the years, or if they moved to deeper water but there is always next year I guess. Good luck
