top water frog fishing is probly one of my favorite styles of fishing.
just woundering what colours do guys find work best this time of year ???

(grant's frogs tend to retain water much quicker...and his hooks are of a "non disclosed brand". Read: China knockoff.)

Tru-Tungsten Mad Maxx . Decent hooks, and they are heavy so you can cast them a mile! Black and natural are all that we own.

Shark man, are we talking team land shark thongs ?? or is there a brand that make's that colour pattern.
i have heard many storys of guys catching walleye on top water frogs.
evergreen, makes purple ones. with a chart belly/middle top of back.

i used to be a big spro guy, they havent made it into the boat yet this year, but i will give the white ones i have a shot.
can you buy those any where around here ?? (Tru-Tungsten Mad Maxx)
or one of those order online things.

The mad Maxx was either CT in Kingston or BPS, can't remember. Haven't had too much size from them but numbers and arenaline rush for sure. Always an awesome topwater bite.

Mad Maxx isnt made anymore Steve so what you find is what you get kinda like the swamp donkey from Reaction Innovations they go for almost $30 bucks a frong on ebay and BBC

Thanks for the heads up, i just ordered a bunch, i was woundering why they are on for $5. i ordered 10, a bunch of the werid colors too.
