Okay the salmon/walleye spoons and walleye crankbaits are multiplying and need a better tackle storage for them.

I was thinking of the Special Mate Tackle boxes.

Does anyone know where to buy them? Quinte/eastern ontario area,

JimW

I use these Plano containers. Seems to work pretty good, and for the most part "tangle free" Fairly cheap, and available at most stores. You can get a tackle box that will hold 4 of these containers, which should hold a lot of lures.

The SpecialMate boxes really are a step up from the Plano containers.

Ya, I was looking at pictures of them online, and they look like they would work pretty good. Nice and organized. Just seems like they are rather large boxes though.

Thanks for all the respnses ............. here is a reply to multiple posts........

......... I emailed the contact from BigGene ........I am interested in 1 or 2 of the 8" boxes ....... price $50 plus shipping .. I just sent him my postal code to get shipping quote.

....... I live 1/2 hour west of Ottawa so a bit far to make a special trip to JB's ..... etc

....... I currently use Plano boxes which quickly fill up as I pick up a couple more lures here and a couple more there.... so looking for something more compact and that can hold more lures. The special mate boxes are big but so are a bunch of big plano boxes bouncing around the boat. The special mates seem to be the best option.

Jim
