Headed out of Picton tonight for a bit. Started Shallow and worked to deeper water. I went back to the area where i was marking lots of fish on the weekend and nailed one within minutes, lost it, picked up one more before dark. 6 lb eye, just outside Long Reach in 35-50 FOW is where i marked most fish pic attached.

East wind was strong ! Hopefully next week some larger fish might start making their way in.

sorry for the bad picture, i was running solo and fumbling an iPhone with slimy hands.

West, i haven't ventured East yet. Not 100% certain how to tell if the fish is out of the lake or resident, but it was light and not dark like most of them i have caught in Big Bay this year.

What do think those marks on the finder are? I marked lots of defined hooks in this one area.

hard to say what the hooks are. Depends where you are in the bay. if you're in the reach or between glenora and thompson point could be anything. Thats a highway for migrating salmon/trout/walleye and other species. I dont beleive the eyes stack up like that until november for the most part but who knows...
