I have just returned from the newest 'Mecca' for anglers and hunters.

Watertown, New York - Salmon Run Mall has a new:

GANDER MOUNTAIN STORE

It's quite a store - we saw approx 20% and just did the fly fishing and fishing section. Never looked at the Hunting or other stuff.

Prices are decent - Off Shore In Line Board reduced from $23 to $17 (US $$ of course)

Anglers - Save your pennies for your next trip to Watertown

Dont forget the opening of the Bass Pro Shop this coming NOvember in toronto. I drove by the place a while back it looks like it's going to be huge!

I know it will be big - I thought the Auburn store was big, it is but they didn't have the deals that I got at Gander Mountain.

Watertown is about an hour(time for the border) from Kingston, 2 hrs from Belleville, three and change from Ottawa.

I look forward to see the prices at BSP in Canada, bet they'll be at the Fishing SHow the end of Feb 2005.
