I'm reaching out to my fellow anglers to follow the thread MEA/RINGWOOD and cast your 15 votes for our future for a continued thriving fishery. Regardless of the species you fish or the body of water you fish, you need to help out with this by voting.

IT TAKES LESS THAN A MINUTE PER TRIP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE OF A LIFETIME. OR TAKE FIVE MINUTES AND YOU CAN CAST ALL YOUR VOTES ALL AT ONCE.

We all need to band together and support this effort by these dedicated people. This will improve and maintain a excellent fishery and ensure it 's continued growth for the future of our families. It will promote and increase the economic benefits to all in the area. Even if you don't fish Browns or Salmon, one day you may, or maybe your children will.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST YOUR SUPPORT WILL SHOW EVERYONE INVOLVED THAT WE STAND BEHIND OUR WATERS AND RECREATIONAL FISHING.

All help is greatly appreciated, thank you for the support.

Gene Frederick

It's great to see the word getting out about this awesome submission to Aviva for the Coho restoration program work that Metro East Anglers are doing. The funding would go a long way to helping us keep the Ringwood hatchery facility going for the next year...I also work with the MEA at the Ringwood hatchery and have been involved in the egg collection, rearing, fin clipping and pen imprinting stages of the Chinook program. There's an amazing group of guys who volunteer their time and I'd ask you to get the word out to the angling community to vote early and vote often.

PS - Your own Ashley Rae just caught her first Chinook salmon on the fly in Oshawa this past week, and that very likely was a Ringwood hatched salmon!!

You can't cast them all at once for a single project, but apparently you can use all 15 votes at once for 15 different projects. BUT please use them only for the MEA/Ringwood project.

Thanks
Al

Was it clipped or non-clipped? That will provide you with your answer.

Even if it was clipped it could have been a stray New York king. Not likely but could have been one that the Shark didn't catch. :D :D :D
