Got off work early on friday and launched at the salmon river for some bassin. There were a ton of mostly small bass averaging 2lbs or less. They were hitting a 4" senko and tubes. Caught a pike about 5 lbs on a white spinnerbait. Another boat was in the area and he was throwing small tubes and the crappie were all over it, some were real nice slabs. The big bass of the night was a 3lber on a 10" worm. Also caught a big bowfin on the same bait. At first I thought I had a hawg bass as it exploded on the surface as soon as the bait hit the water. But as it jumped a full 3 feet out of the water i realized it was a bowfin. It weighed 10lbs even. Took a pic and will post it when it comes back from developing.
