i was fishing on the boq this weekend ( im from windsor) and on sunday morning we seen what looked to be someone pulling up some sort of net?
he picked out a whole lot of fish and threw them in his boat ( looked like walleye)
is this legal?

in the beginning of october, nets are set throughout all of quinte...from trenton, through big bay, to desoronto, up long reach, across hay bay, into picton bay, and finally, down adolphus reach.

its crazy.

whats even crazier is folks suggest they are really only trying to net whitefish.

ya right.

also, watch them in december pulling nets in the minus degrees...not a nice job.

they will net the reach, in 100' of water, using some type of specialty nets....and a crazy looking boat to do so!

we seen white plastic shopping bags i thought it was just floating garbage but...they were bouys

what i find crazy is not the nets, that they allow its more how they can allow netting then tell a fisherman he can only troll with one rod in the same dam waters. now thats just crazy
