Picture sent from a friend of mine in Saskatchewan. It was caught at Tobin Lake this weekend weighing in at approx 17 lbs and 90cm in length. I can't wait for the Bay to start heating up!!!

room looks a bit large for ice hut, plus tv in background........... plus caught in October...... does Tobin have ice in October?

Hey Dan, I read an article in Outdoor Canada magazine stating that the record for Tobin is 18 pounds 4.8 ounces. Broke the previous record of just over 18 pounds it said. Didn't say when it was caught though.

Father Mariusz's eye of Jan 4 / 2005 was 18.3 lbs ( 18..4.8 ) broke 1999 record of 18.06 ( Sask. ).
