Did you hide them in an album at Walleye Central?? There are 72 pages of albums and I wasn't able to search for your name.

I couldn't see a post at Canada Eh? either.

Im going out to picton this week end to give the walleye a try. Going to launch in town is there a better place. Im not to familiar with the boat lauches as I usually fish from Trenton to Belleville. Are they active in the middle of the day or is it better to go first thing in the morning or late afternoon. I may try the Scotch bonnet if the winds are good anybody been out there recently

picton is best launch, pretty central in terms fo eastern bay fishing spots and access to go east of ferry if you want. I havent fished bonnett for eyes, Al (trannyman) has, and he said he was done there this season and was moving to the bay. My guess would be they would be closer to the gap by now and hopefully some starting to hit keiths shoal and ferry...

My 20 years experience of fishing the Bonnet for fall eyes says it's over.
But I 've been wrong before.

We managed 1 last night. Right around the 11 mark. Unfortunately inches not pounds. Not a very successful night. Fished mostly west of the ferry but did take one short run east of it.

Thanks for the info. I think I will stay in the bay and try picton on sunday. Any tips for where to go what to use, also how long does it take to get out to the bay from the launch.

Thanks

I would stick to the shores and use cranks TD-9's and 11's + Wally divers on weedlines and sharp drop offs near shore. I heard this is where the majority of the fish are. I was out today for a bit and lost one around 7lbs in 10' water. Most fish the deeper water, but i have only managed 1 in anything deeper than 15' in the last month. Until the fish come in from the lake, i would stay shallow.

Launched at Picton today around 9am, fished to 2pm East of the ferry. Lots of boats out but not many fish being caught from what I could see. I had one good hit in 35 ft of water but that was it. Did anyone else have any luck. It was a great day for fishing but fish were'nt biting.

We got skunked also, out from 8 till 3. Also east from batcave to prinyers, only had one rip but was gone when I grabbed the rod. Marked tonnes of fish but not much bait.

Fished South shore from ferry out with 1 pike.

Heading back in, i ran over a hump that went from 70' to 17' in a hurry. I turned the boat around and started to fish it. Mass amount of perch on the hump. The fish finder was going crazy with bait. I noticed at one point, there was schools of little silver flashing fishes around 3 or 4 ' down.. maybe shad i guess, dano. I caught MANY perch, with 1 huge one... but no Walleye. Thought for sure i would find one under the silver fishes schooled up. All on North shore.

oh well, nice day on the water though.
