I know most of you guys are going for the monsters this time of year but, is there anywhere you can catch nice eater size walleyes? I am looking to take my daughter out again this weekend ( bass tournaments are done) last time we went out we didn't have any luck and she was kind of bummed out and said she didn't like walleye fishing anymore. Any suggestions or tips would be awesome, so I could put a smile on her face and make her a believer again in the great walleye.

It can be tough keeping kids interests when the fish arent biting. It might be better just to take her pan fishing till you have an opportunity to dial in the eaters.

Last year we caught a ton of perch right of the dock at the launch in Picton this time of year.

She's not really a kid, She is 30 years old but it is a chance for us to spend some quality time together. She does really well bass fishing but would like to catch some walleye.
