Gonna be doing some late night fishing over the next couple weeks because of my schedule , what do people recommend for lures in the dark ?
Noisy lures like a CC Shad or fluorescent colored shad raps ? Or should I be jigging ?

Thanks for the help ...

I also like Rapala J-11s & 13s, colour doesn't matter at night. - trolling
Rebel blk/silver jointed 7" - casting

Mostly river fishing.

Over the years, the biggest key to fishing at night for walleye is a slow retrieve. I have found that casting stick bait solid or jointed over weed beds and reel in slow. Try about a crank a second that should keep or bait around 1.5 - 2 mph, no different then trolling. This is the method that most guys I know have used in Picton, in the harbour or at the mouth just passed the pump house.

I know what you mean. I still have a 7 inch blue and silver jointed rapala that I have been casting for last 15 years.
