Got to the Bath launch at 10:15am and started fishing just off of Indian point at 10:45. A bit of a chop  -- 20 km West Wind. 11 am first fish was a 32" 11.4 lbs walleye that hit a clown Rapala J-13 on the port side down rigger. Then from 11:15am to 2:30pm caught 5 sheepheads with the biggest at 17lb (Though it was a salmon - with the long runs and the planer board going backwards like a rocket across the water :D ) The smallest sheephead was around 9lbs. At 3pm second walleye 10.6lb 31" hit a Manns Stretch 20+ on a inline planer board 100ft out to the starboard side. 3:30 headed back to the Bath launch to put the boat on the trailer.
Sorry no pictures forgot the camera at home.

Til' next time...

Thanks for the report. Sounds like the fish are scattered. Did you notice any temp change since your last outing? 17lb sheephead ... now thats enough to give a guy carpel tunnel. Good test of your drag I bet.

Hey guys...always jealous to hear a report like that. I should have booked off work with fish fever. What depth of water were you in and did other fish mark on the graph?

Fishing in 140 to 190 feet of water. Marking lots of fish at the 100 - 110 foot range...I figure they are trout or slamon.

Dann...

Water has dropped 5 degrees...it was 60 degrees F at the surface. That large sheephead fought better then the 30lb Salmon I caught this summer...man did that sheapy take drag :D . I could actually fish for them all day...they are a great fighting fish and really make the inline planer boards dance backwards across the water.

Heading out again on Tuesday...I will post an update when I return.

Cheers'
