Hello Fellow Quinte/Lake O Fishermen (and women)

For those of you who frequent Lake Ontario around Quinte and enjoy the great trout/salmon fishery...we have a small request.
The Metro East Anglers from the Ringwood Hatchery have secured a deal with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources to keep the Ringwood Hatchery open and running to continue their great work raising Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout for Lake O. They're looking for some assistance from those of us here who reap the benefits of their hard work. Aviva Insurance (Aviva Community Fund) is putting on a contest that will award funds to projects and Ringwood Fish Culture Station is looking for help to secure a win and some much needed funding.

To help, all you have to do is vote your support for the initiative. You can vote 15 times for each email address you have.

Tell your friends, family and co-workers. Every vote counts. All it takes is a couple of clicks on your computer to help make a difference.

Ringwood is currently in the second round of voting and could use the help from all you fisherman out there.

Visit.. http://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ideas/acf11597 and cast your votes (just click on the link to get started)

Thank You for supporting Ringwood Fish Culture Station and our beloved Lake Ontario Fishery :)

Thank you -Weedman, For this post.

We need an Influx of atleast 100 people Voting EVERY DAY, to make it to the Semi finals with a chance of passing it to see the judges.
we only have 12 days of round 2 left, so EVERY Vote counts.
We should be able to come together as a group, Strong enough, to ensure we do not see Round 3.
As it is another 12 days of Voting before The group can get into the semi Finals.
We are currently in 18th place, And we need 10th place or better in round 2 to make the semi finals.

Like I said in a Previous post about supporting this Great volunteer opportunity.

I cant wait Until I am able to come out to your area with fish to Stock, Instead of Making the 6 hour Drive Just to Try and catch a Fish Only to get a picture ;) ..........

Every vote counts and its not just for a Single Volunteer group. Its for Everyone Across the North Shore of Lake ontario.

Hope to see some of you out this year visiting or helping the operations @ the ringwood hatchery facility.
(anyone is welcome you can contact me, OrangePeal or Trannyman for more information).

~Jeremy.

Sorry to HARP but everyone needs to Get Voting. EVERYDAY.....

I Really want to come out to the county next year to drop off some Brown Trout,

It wont happen without the support of Every Person whom actually cares about the State of lake ontarios Fishery.

Its a Shame to know that there are Charter Captains out there that only want to make their money off the fishery, And They really dont care about giving Back to a program that Helps their Business...
Not saying that is any of you reading this, To be honest I have only heard that kind of Ignorance from One Salmon Charter operator.

But where there is one there are many.

We all need to work together To help our childrens future.

If not for the MEA's -Ringwood Program, I would never have met the few of you Quality gentleman that appreciate good quality fishing.

BTW I have never been on a boat trolling for Anything until last year 2010, After spend numerous hours Volunteering my time in the hatchery. Only being out on the big lake less than 20 times, I now have the Itch, And sometimes even have dreams about rods firing off....

Its because of this Ringwood program that has created me to be a Big water angler.

Imagine what we could do for future generations?????

please take your time today, It's the rewards you will see in the future that will Make you feel good about clicking on a link.....
