Rec. an E mail from Jeff & Jackie of Pickerel Park on Hay Bay. They Stated that they stay open to early Oct. but after that they are still open just dbring your own water & to let them know your coming. I;m keeping an eye on the weater. Do not want to be too chilly. Hopefully this week will give it a try. I hear the walley are biting in the evening.

Well it was a little chilli at night...Took a small heater which helped. Most likely the last trip this year, I'll wait till ice before heading out again. Camped at Pickerel Bay on Hay Bay. Nice people. They are new owners. Just bought it June this year. They have thier work cut out for them.

I like the area, Lots of history, Nice people & Great fishing planning alot more trips
