Looks like the fish are moving in, best picture I've seen this year.

but that picture is horrible for active fish.

still a ways away.

when fish are deeper than 60', my experience is they are still in 'waiting mode'.

once the water temps drop enough that all those fish are in 15' - 30', which they will be, then it'll be GO TIME!

Steve,

I picked a walleye up over that school on a jointed storm thunderstick back 250' then out another 250' to the board. To my knowledge a jointed thunderstick only goes down like 15' so there are high fish out here. I think they scatter as you go over them.

Definitely those deep fish are not active but it is nice to see that kind of picture. That is right at the gap so my guess is a new school of fish moving in. It's a theory but I think they are deep resting after a move.

Scott

Ban him Dan, for that kind of talk. There are children the look at this board! We can't have members talking about ice fishing in November. I understand its a necessary evil in Jan and Feb, but November!?! BAN his ip address.

Great Motivation pics.
I'll be out Sat. in a yak.
More of a feel thing fishing instead of I am a robot mechanical fishing.
Da Na Na na Da Na Na Na Na Batman!
( A SOT yak is a resue vehicle..but I don't have much room to put others on board..got modern communicates to get orange bodes out of water.. water at 44 F..lots of time. )
Just want one over 10 lbs and then wish for ice.
