I'll be out Sat. in a yak.

You wont be on the bay this Saturday fishing in a yak ..... Unless your gonna use the wind to troll and someone is gonna pick you up on the north east shore when your blown in..... :) or you have one big ass drift sock ....

Yeah, think your right Chugger..that windfinder forecast not looking good.
Next week-end?..I'll save the Sylvan for December.

I'll take that kind of graphing for suspended fish any day. Lots of trips to BOQ we mark nothing higher than 40' and catch plenty of fish 'up' for baits down 15-20', in blank sections of the screen. If you've ever jigged thru the ice for anything, a bait 15-30' over a fish's head very much fair game. Especially at low speed with good vibration and possibly rattles like when you're weaving along trolling. It really hits home in winter, fishing up and down from a stationary position. Been fishing BOQ about ten yrs primarily late Nov/early Dec and over top of the fish is very consistent. (Baits are always well out of the cone anyway, so who ever really knows whats going on under your board way out there?) This wk last year we released 29 in three days to 13 1/2lbs only down 16' in 70-80fow. You can see some of those fish on the move upwards on those screen pics to grab a mouthful and head back down. Those pics are great. Its amazing how far fish will travel for the right action and colour. I would definitely be happy playing with different set ups over top of marks like those.
Headed back for three days Dec3, good luck to all!
